Its one of those lokoktiis that despite Mrs.Mehta's 8th Std Hindi lessons dimness , sticks in my head.
There is one un-ishwarish maya thats irks me.



The Lonely Plant calls Singapore 'one giant sauna' , walking 3 mins to the MRT station can leave one drenched.

At the same time , people in offices across the island , reach for their jackets , secretaries shiver in their designer shawls , and people sometimes regret wearing shorts when taking the MRT(not sure if thats a fetish yet. Kwonsch?)

From Hong Kong to Jakarta , the air-con must be the most energy unfriendly device by virtue of its bird brained over-use in offices and public spaces (which today increasingly means the mall and the lift lobby)

...and the sad part is that theres no hype about it and meanwhile developing India and Vietnam and others begin to revel in the chill.
